Never to Old to Voice my Opinion

Hello everyone, I’m Don Ware Sr. and I live in Kingwood, Texas. This is my first attempt at a blog.

Some personal history would be helpful; I was born the same year that President Roosevelt repealed prohibition that was 1933. Since that year I have lived through 13 Presidents and experienced 86 years of history. I have six living children and 16 grandchildren; I could write a blog about my relationships with them that would go on and on.

My real passion however, has been as an observer of the human social condition. In other words, I am a people watcher! It’s a fascinating subject that is constantly changing and challenging. I have opinions about everything! It is these opinions that have become the subject of my essays. I’ll try very hard to make these essays interesting and informative. I will use my considerable wit to add a chuckle to your reading experience.

For the past 21 years my wife, Maggie, and I have sold jewelry making supplies, not only in a brick and mortar shop, but also online. It is a hobby that allows us to travel around in search of new supplies to sell and at the same time it gives me a chance to practice my first love observing The Human Condition.

With all that said, please let me know what you think about my writings, your feedback is tremendously important to me!

The photo here on my home page was taken September 2012 (during my second trip to the greenest place on earth) at one of my favorite locations in Ireland.

Ladies View is a scenic viewpoint on the Ring of Kerry tourist route about 19 kilometres (12 miles) from Killarney along the N71 road to Kenmare, in the Killarney National Park in Ireland. The Irish Times ranked Ladies View as one of the most photographed places in Ireland, while the Daily Edge ranked the views among-st Ireland’s finest on Instagram. The name Ladies View (sometimes spelled Ladies’ View), stems from the admiration of the view given by Queen Victoria’s Ladies-in Waiting during Victoria’s 1861 visit to Ireland.
